Whew! Sorry for the wait on these guys. Summer continues roll on (or roll right over us) and we got pretty swamped there for a minute. We’re getting caught up though, and these were worth the wait. First we have the shots from The Canon Logic’s now legendary rooftop jam. We had to contend with some ambient light, but we still managed to get some fun shots.
Second, we’ve also posted the photos from Glowcamp, an “un” conference at NYU that we were invited to. It was a meetup for anyone involved in light, and it definitely leaned in the technical direction. Basically, all of the people presenting at Glowcamp were crazy geniuses, and we can definitely say we had some major IQ’s in front of our camera that day (with apologies to the Flashing Lights kids) who were all really great to work with. We also got to borrow a homemade LED light strip that one presenter brought, that you can see in the last few photos below.
As usual, the whole sets are up on the MRI Flickr, so you can check them out there when you are all finished here.
Stay awake everyone, and don’t forget that its still Summer! This weekend, we will be chilling so hard our asses will be freezing right off…like a T-1000, obviously.
