WE LOVE THIS: 6 Month Pinhole Exposures

posted: August 4th, 2010 / in We Love This

This dude took the idea of long exposures VERY seriously, and we love it.  Justin Quinnell (your photos are genius so that Papyrus font gets a pass) made pinhole cameras out of soda cans and then stuck them to telephone poles for 6 MONTHS and let the images grow from there.  The results are seriously jaw dropping.  Those bands across the top are the sun moving across the sky, which basically means this guy lightpainted with THE FREAKING SUN.  For that, our hat goes off (and stays off) to you, sir.  Check out a few of the photos here, and the rest on Justin’s site.
